Jill Cohen

Jill helps parents’ attorneys obtain resources for their family defense teams across the state. Jill recruits and trains social workers, family advocates, parent advocates, and experts who want to join our community to hold child welfare professionals and courts accountable to families. She fights for parents to have high quality representation from the first knock on the door through the successful end of their child welfare involvement. Jill helped grow one of the first interdisciplinary parent representation practices at the Center for Family Representation (CFR) in New York before moving to Colorado. She has an M.S.W. from the Hunter College School of Social Work and a B.A. from Barnard College.
