Understand Your Rights

If your child was removed from your care, you should have received a Notice of Rights and Remedies document to help you understand the rights granted to you and your family during D&N proceedings.

What to expect from D&N proceedings

If your child was removed from your care and you are a parent or family member experiencing indigency, you may qualify to receive court appointed counsel to advocate on your behalf throughout your case.

As your case progresses, ORPC will connect you with an interdisciplinary team consisting of parent-focused social workers and advocates who have experience navigating D&N proceedings.
